If you can’t make it to our auctions and choose to bid live, please note the buyer’s premium is 18%. There is a 5% discount when bidding live in our gallery.
Appraisals
Appraisals for collectibles are free at Philip Weiss Auctions, contact us by sending an e-mail with a photo if possible to, info@weissauctions.com or call (516) 594-0731 or fax us at (516) 594-9414.
Please note: when sending photos by email, bigger is not always better. Even an image shot at 640 X 480 will give us enough detail, and will get through the email system faster.
We will also provide appraisals for insurance purposes, for a nominal fee, when you need to protect your valuable assets and collections.
Note: We do not appraise Jewelry or Automobiles.
Our Staff will assist you in determining the approximate value of your items. Whether it's a single piece, a collection, or an entire estate, you will be given a fair and honest evaluation.
